We started in 2021 with a small collection of saplings and one simple belief: a plant should still be alive six months after you carry it home. That belief decides everything at this plant nursery. Plants are hardened in open Haridwar sun and Haridwar water before they are put out for sale, so the shift from our plant nursery beds to your balcony is not a shock to the roots. Nothing is force-grown for a quick sale.
Kankhal sits between the Ganga canal and the Shivalik foothills, which gives Haridwar a growing season most cities envy — long warm summers, a heavy monsoon, and winters mild enough for citrus and roses. It also brings hard water, dry loo winds in May and June, and heavy clay in many colonies. A plant nursery that ignores all of that will sell you something beautiful that dies in three weeks. A short, deliberate sequence — because the order of these steps is what decides whether the plants live.
Call the plant nursery, WhatsApp us or walk in and describe where the plants will live: balcony, terrace, courtyard, cabin or reception. Direction, hours of direct sun and who will water it matter far more than which plant caught your eye online. A photo of the spot is enough for us to work with.
We match your light, space, weight limit and watering habit to what is genuinely healthy in the plant nursery that week, and give you two or three options at different budgets. If you are set on something that will not work, we will say so and suggest the closest thing that will.
Every plant leaves with the right pot size and material — ceramic, fiber or roto — the right potting mix, and the right manure: vermicompost, neem compost or bone meal depending on whether we are building soil, protecting roots or pushing flowers.
Small orders travel fine by two-wheeler; larger orders, tall plants and society or hotel consignments leave the plant nursery by vehicle and are delivered across Haridwar. For vertical gardens and tray gardens we can set the panels and trays up on site so the layout works from day one.
You get a plain-language watering and feeding routine, and a standing invitation to send the plant nursery photos when something looks wrong. We will nudge you before the May heat and the December cold about what to shift, shade, prune or feed. This is where most gardens are saved.

Much of Haridwar runs on hard borewell water, and colonies built on old riverbed clay drain badly. Both are fixable: we blend cocopeat and compost into the potting mix so roots get air, and we recommend flushing pots thoroughly once a month so salts do not build up at the rim. If you garden in the ground rather than in pots, a bag of plant nursery vermicompost worked in every season does more for clay than any chemical.
Not everyone has ground to plant in. Vertical garden panels turn a two-foot-wide balcony into a wall of green; tray gardens sit on window sills, shop counters, ashram reception desks and office tables. Both are stocked at our plant nursery in Kankhal, and both can be assembled with the plant mix best suited to the light your space actually gets.
